Fundraising Drive Starts For

Certified Landscape Technician Program

Nevada Landscape Association

The NLA State Board recently approved a fundraising program for the successful
Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) Program. Members have shown an interest
in expanding the national program to include other portions of the CLT test not
currently offered in Nevada.

The Program now in its third year, is supported by several member companies

including: Ahern Rentals, Ewing Irrigation Products, R-Supply Company, Dayton
Valley Turf, Western Nevada Supply, and Signature Landscapes.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 over the next six months to offset the cost of
expanding the program which will require additional staff support and materials.

We have already have had two amazing companies step forward to help us reach
our goal.

* Rick Clark and Lebo Newman of Signature Landscapes have committed
$5,000 for 2005 and $2,500 for three years thereafter for a grand total of
$12,500 to be committed to Nevada's CLT Program.
